Ethiclean Client Terms & Conditions

By booking, paying for, or using Ethiclean's services, the Client agrees to the following Terms & Conditions:

1.⁠ ⁠Services

Ethiclean will provide cleaning services as agreed at the time of booking. Service duration is based on the hours booked and the reasonable completion of requested tasks within the allocated time. Ethiclean does not guarantee the completion of all requested tasks if the booked hours are insufficient.

2.⁠ ⁠Access & Safety

The Client shall provide safe and reasonable access to the property, including any necessary access cards, parking arrangements, building permits, or entry instructions. Ethiclean reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable for staff.

3.⁠ ⁠Payment

Payment must be made in accordance with the invoice terms provided. Ethiclean reserves the right to suspend or terminate services where invoices remain unpaid.

4.⁠ ⁠Cancellations & Rescheduling

One-Off Bookings

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling of one-off cleaning appointments. Ethiclean reserves the right to charge the full service fee for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice.

Recurring Bookings

For recurring services (including weekly, fortnightly, or monthly bookings), a minimum of fourteen (14) days' written notice is required to cancel the service.

Services scheduled during the notice period remain payable and will be carried out unless otherwise agreed in writing by Ethiclean.

Failure to provide the required notice period may result in charges equivalent to the services booked during the notice period.

Service Pauses

Clients wishing to temporarily pause recurring services due to travel or other circumstances should provide as much notice as possible. While Ethiclean will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, the original cleaner, day, and time slot cannot be guaranteed upon resumption of services.

5.⁠ ⁠Client Responsibilities

The Client shall ensure that valuable, fragile, sentimental, or irreplaceable items are stored safely prior to the service. Any concerns regarding service quality must be reported to Ethiclean within 24 hours of the service being completed so that appropriate action can be taken.

6.⁠ ⁠Staff Respect & Conduct

Clients are expected to treat all Ethiclean employees with dignity, courtesy, and respect. Any form of harassment, discrimination, abusive language, threatening behaviour, or inappropriate conduct towards staff may result in the immediate termination of services without refund.

7.⁠ ⁠Non-Solicitation of Staff

Ethiclean invests significantly in the recruitment, training, visa sponsorship, insurance, transportation, accommodation, and ongoing development of its employees.

The Client agrees not to directly or indirectly employ, engage, hire, recruit, solicit, or otherwise retain any current or former Ethiclean employee outside of Ethiclean's services during the period of service and for twelve (12) months following the last service provided by Ethiclean.

Ethiclean – Cleaning with a Conscience

Should a Client wish to employ or engage an Ethiclean employee directly, this may only be done with Ethiclean's prior written consent and upon payment of a recruitment and transfer fee of AED 10,000, together with any applicable government, visa, administrative, or processing costs.

Any attempt to circumvent this clause, including engaging staff through a third party, family member, or intermediary, shall constitute a breach of these Terms & Conditions.

8.⁠ ⁠Liability

While Ethiclean takes reasonable care in providing its services, liability for any claim arising from the provision of services shall be limited to the value of the service provided. Ethiclean shall not be liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, deterioration of materials, or issues arising from faulty equipment, fixtures, or products supplied by the Client.

9.⁠ ⁠Force Majeure

Ethiclean shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, road closures, government restrictions, public emergencies, labour shortages, transportation disruptions, or acts of God.

10.⁠ ⁠Acceptance of Terms

Payment of an invoice, confirmation of a booking, or use of Ethiclean's services shall constitute full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
